Radar

Radars are used by meteorologists to tell people what kind of weather is happening in different areas in the United States. It is different from maps because unlike weather maps, radars can tell more information on the weather in the areas. The symbols of a radar are the following:
Rain: Light ____ _____ _____ ____ ____ Heavy. Mix/Ice: Light ____ ____ ____ Heavy.
Snow: Light ____ ____ ____ ____ Heavy. Here is an example pic of a US national Doppler radar:

What kind of maps are easier? The weather maps or the radars? Personally, I think the weather maps are easier because the symbols are easier to understand and read. Also, you can get information a lot quicker using the weather maps rather then using the radar. However, which ever way you go, radars are useful to determine the weather in the future and they have more information than regular weather maps.
